Position Title: Human Resource Assistant Coordinator
Reports To: Human Resource Manager
Supervises: None
Position Summary:
Administer and coordinate approved HR functions which promote harmonious employee relations. Develop and recommend policies and procedures which are consistent with Company and employee well-being. Coordinate all hiring and HR functions while utilizing strong interpersonal and negotiating skills. This position interfaces with all levels of management with regard to all HR related issues at all Robinson facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit/attract talented pool of diverse candidates for each position within the Organization at all facilities by overseeing the contract recruiter.
- Administer and coordinate management-approved employee benefits, safety training and service programs. Monitors employment practices at various Company locations.
- Administer employee benefit plans such as: Medical, dental, life, AD&D and long-term disability insurance as well as Accident and Sickness Pay.
- Administer workers compensation and unemployment claims.
- Maintains mandatory regulations and laws governing employment, wage and hour data, working conditions, etc. including programs such as OSHA, EEOC, EPA, DER, etc.
- Maintains current personnel files for shop employees including performance appraisals and wage information for all Robinson facilities.
- Maintains working knowledge of all payroll programs including the time and attendance system and payroll transfer and distribution.
- Coordinates Safety Programs at all sites.
- Travels to all Robinson facilities at least semi-annually to review HR records, safety programs, etc.
- Handles employee relations issues such as assistance with any insurance claims, conducting exit interviews at all facilities, Employee recognition programs, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor´s Degree or equivalent with a 4-year college or university.
- 3-5 Years of Human Resources Generalist experience of an equivalent combination and experience.
- PHR/SPHR Certificate preferred.
- Background in automated computer based HR systems and general technical experience.
- High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook and Internet applications.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
Position Opportunity: Field Service Technician
Job Description: Oversee field installation and operation of new fan equipment. Provide field service and maintenance for existing equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of industrial fan manufacturing experience
- 5 years of industrial fan installation and repair experience
- Willing to work weekends and holidays
- Willing to travel approximately 70% of work schedule
- Willing to respond to immediate needs regardless of personal plans
- Able to work on raised platforms, catwalks and stacks
- Able to work in remote locations with limited resources
- Able to read and understand technical drawings and installation instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using vibration equipment / balancing
- Experience using laser alignment equipment 4 year bachelors degree
